Tween is an American neologism and marketing term[6] that means roughly the same thing as preteen. It is a portmanteau word of between and teen. The age range of tweens in generally considered to be eight to twelve years of age. Marketers describe the driving psychographic motivation of this group as desperately wanting to be a teen, but not about to stop being a kid. The term was first used in J.R.R. Tolkien's 1954 novel The Lord of the Rings to refer to Hobbits in their twenties.
A Purity Ball , also known as a "Father Daughter Purity Ball" or "Purity Wedding", is a formal event attended by fathers and their daughters. These events promote virginity until marriage for teenaged girls, and are often closely associated with U.S. Christian churches, particularly evangelical Christians churches.

I think this is great so far! You might find some challenges with the whole Christian route. Don't worry about including that sort of imagery. Try and focus on the mindset these girls would be in rather than the material things they might surround themselves with. Ask me if you'd like some more clarification.
